and dare I say, I know the community like my back

Club Gold award in 2002, which places me in the top

a real feeling of pride and expectation. Every July,
San Diego has it's annual Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade
and Festival in the community of Hillcrest. Every
year this event grows with participation of people
from all over the country. Although much of our community
lives and works in and around the central part of
the city, many have chosen the suburbs as their home.
