Wilton Manors is the Gay Capitol of South
Florida.
In a recent aritcle in the Boston Globe,
reporter Christopher Muther wrote "I'm convinced that if
Disney World is the happiest place on earth, then Fort Lauderdale
(Wilton Manors/Oakland Park) must be the gayest place on earth."
The Gay & Lesbian Community Center, as well as other support
round out the communities existence. For fun there is a plaza
called the Shoppes at Wilton Manors. Virtually every business
in this complex is gay.
From the Gay Mart to a store called Tops
& Bottoms. The parking lot is jammed (rainbow stickers as
far as the eye can see), the mostly male crowd moves between
a clubs, shops and some great restuarants. There are Martini
Bars and this gay playland is crowned with a cleverly placed
Dairy Queen. There is a sense of community and living an open
life style is most appealing. The real estate market is is very
active and a big part of the increase in property values has
been the crowd now calling Wilton Manors & Oakland Park
home.

destination, after New York and San Francisco. Located between
Palm Beach and Miami Beach, it is the seat of Broward County.
Broward's population is over 1.4 million.
Broward County is very accepting of its gay and lesbian population.
While there are areas that have high concentrations of gay and
lesbian residents, the gay population is well integrated throughout
the County. More...

In the past two years, I have had the pleasure
of working with first time homebuyers as well as millionaires
looking for investment property. Many of my clients are from
other states. I am knowledgeable in assisting your move as
smoothly as possible. Fortunately, my past clients have been
so pleased with my effort, they have given me referrals.
Whether you're single or a couple, there is always something
to dogreat bars, sports communityas well as simply
meeting others and sharing in each other?s life. It is a strong
community with many ways to unite.
