San Antonio
San Antonio is a perfect place
to live. This beautiful city offers spacious homes at reasonable
prices. Residents enjoy a variety of activities in the 177 city-owned
parks. Ten colleges, private universities, and state universities
are there for those interested in furthering their education.
The city is home to Texas's oldest symphony orchestra and has
dozens of live theaters to attend. Museums and galleries are numerous.
The McNay Art Museum and the San Antonio Museum of Art offer world
class exhibits. There is a rich Spanish heritage prevalent throughout
the city.
This second largest city in Texas is known as a fun-loving city.
Festivals abound. The several miles long River Walk winds below
street level and is a highly rated city attraction. Sidewalk cafes,
restaurants, hotels, art galleries, bars, and specialty shops
line its beautiful walkways. During the winter season, the River
Walk is illuminated with thousands of lights and luminaries and
hosts a variety of festivities.
This city definitely caters to a variety interests. Within or
nearby are the zoo, The Alamo, Market Square, Farmers Market,
and the Spanish Governor's Palace. San Antonio is also the home
of the 1999 NBA Championship Spurs basketball team.
A short drive in all directions leads you to historical towns,
sites, activities such as Six Flags and Sea World, and beautiful
rolling rural countryside.
